Curriculum Freeze
What is the Freeze--How long will it last?
Due to the volume of data being transferred and verified from our legacy SIS to the new software systems, a curriculum freeze was needed to ensure accuracy and minimize loss of data. March 2026 is the CourseLeaf go-live date. Hands-on training will follow.
FAQ
- I had a draft version of a Course Outline of Record (COR) started before the Freeze, what can I do?
Please be advised that any COR currently in draft status will not be imported into Banner due to limitations of the data transfer.
The Curriculum Office reccomends saving a PDF copy of any draft CORs for future reference. Once the transition to Banner is complete, draft CORs in our legacy SIS will be permanently deleted and inaccessible for printing or downloading from the COR portal.
To ensure you retain a copy for archival or review, please save a PDF version of any relevant draft CORs as soon as possible.
- I submitted a course before the 5/23 deadline, what is its status?
Courses submitted before 5/23 will be processed and scheduled for a CRC date during the Fall semester.
- How do I revise a course now?
Whether for 6-Year review or any other reason, to revise or create a course is a three-step process that needs to be done outside of SIS.
